MS Outlook includes different file items such as contacts, notes, tasks, calendar, journals, email messages, etc. All the folders of these files saved in PST format. It comes as ANSI PST and UNICODE PST. The size limit of ANSI PST is 2 GB and UNICODE PST is 20 GB, which is now extended 50 GB from Outlook 2010 edition. PST files corrupted when file size limit exceeds. The corruption lead to loss of crucial items including email files. Thus, it is recommended to split PST file by utilizing some features of MS Outlook i.e. Archive, Import/Export and Move to Folder options. Move to Folder will not divide PST file but will help to move files from one PST folder to another by generating new PST folder. Besides Outlook options, advance and secure app available i.e. PST Split that will directly split PST file into multiple parts without data loss.
